Influences: Music inspires me the most. The feelings we all get when we listen to our favorite tunes or something new create another perspective for us to look at life. More than that I find myself motivated to work and I just love getting in that groove musically and in my work. My favorite genre is jambands. These include bands like Phish, the Grateful Dead, Moe. and Umphrey's Mcgee. There is nothing like seeing one of these acts in person; being around strange new people, seeing their art or just sharing a can of beer. We are all there for the common purpose of losing ourselves in the great music being played for us.
Looking at other design. Our world is full of printed pieces They all meet a specific design criteria and I love trying to get into the designers head just in case I find myself in the same situation. Ranging from movie credits to some crappy handout, I am always striving to think of how it is created and what I could do to make it better.
Architecture - the best way to see perspective.
Most of all, the world around us. It has so much to offer if we take the time to appreciate its' fine details. Nature and the environment always find a way to put us in our place.
